I was inspired by these projects

here to create a lacy, drapey top.
At the thrift store, I found a lacy drape panel for $4. It was a small price to pay for such an elegant and pretty top!
This "fabric" was a beast to work with because it pissed off my sewing machine. But it got easier over time. Unlike the tutorials that inspired me, I attempted to make a more finished neckline because I was afraid the lace might tear or stretch if I left it. I'm not good at sewing, but it did turn out to my liking.
My dog was excited about it, too, apparently :)
